St Peter
The church of St Peter is Wootton Wawen's oldest building, in fact it is one of Warwickshire's oldest buildings, having Saxon origins.

Stratford Canal

Meriden was said to have been the centre of England, though nowadays a location in Leicestershire has the honour. This monument remains however, to mark the traditional centre.

Upper Arley
This week's theme is the Worcestershire village of Upper Arley, although until 1895 part of Staffordshire. Upper Arley is maybe best known for being a stop on the Severn Valley Railway (and indeed Arley station was the setting for the TV series Oh Dr Beeching!)
