This week's theme is the Leicestershire town of Hinckley again, starting with the railway station though most of the building is now used by small businesses.

As you can imagine the village has a number of pretty houses and cottages.

Fields

Farm fields surround the village which is east of Leamington Spa.

St Gregory

Offchurch is named for Offa's Church (Offa the Mercian King), though in Saxon times an earlier church served the village. Legend is that if you jump from the roof of the church then Offa will rise out of the ground and catch you. It is probably best not to test this legend.
